Gareth is the founder of ObieTech and previously founded Frollo, one of Australia’s early pioneers in open banking and financial data innovation. With more than two decades of experience across fintech and consumer finance, Gareth has built platforms that turn financial data into meaningful product capability.

He founded ObieTech to address a challenge he saw repeatedly across the industry: financial institutions investing in emerging technologies like AI but struggling to operationalise them inside regulated environments.

At ObieTech, Gareth leads the mission to build a financial intelligence platform that enables institutions to embed intelligent capabilities directly into their products—accelerating product delivery while maintaining the security, governance, and reliability required in financial services.

He is passionate about bringing together great people, technology, and ideas to shape the next generation of intelligent financial products.

Edd is the Chief Technology Officer at ObieTech, where he leads the architecture and engineering behind the platform.

With a strong background in fintech and enterprise software, Edd has a proven track record of using technology to drive product innovation and business growth. Prior to joining ObieTech, he led technology strategy and platform development at a pioneering fintech, building secure and scalable systems designed to operate within regulated financial environments.

At ObieTech, Edd is responsible for designing the platform architecture that enables financial institutions to embed intelligent capabilities directly into their products. His focus is on building secure, high-performance systems that integrate seamlessly with existing financial infrastructure.

Edd is passionate about applying emerging technologies to solve complex problems and mentoring engineering teams to deliver production-ready software at scale.

Ali is the Head of Operations at ObieTech, where she leads operational strategy and delivery across the business.

With extensive experience in fintech operations and regulated environments, Ali specialises in building the structures and processes that allow technology platforms to scale efficiently while meeting the governance and compliance standards required in financial services.

At ObieTech, Ali is responsible for ensuring the platform and organisation operate with the discipline needed to support enterprise clients. This includes implementing operational frameworks, compliance programs, and delivery processes that enable teams to execute reliably at scale.
